Over the last 14 months, construction crews have been busy with the new Atlanta Braves spring-training facility at the West Villages. Over 350 men and women from more than 25 subcontracting companies from Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties have put in over 500,000 hours with the project.

What once was empty undeveloped land, is now going to be one of the National Baseball League's most prestigious spring-training complex. The Braves complex will be known as CoolToday Park, after undergoing a recent partnership with Cool Today. The CoolToday Park will have a full 360-degree view of the concourse, field level suites, VIP seating, outfield seating, covered terrace clubs, band area and a tiki bar. Additonally, the Brave's will hyave a clubhouse and a two story weight room for conditioning.

Much of the buzz around town has been the new stadium and when it will be completed. Since the October 2017 ground breaking, the stadium is now 75 percent done. The Braves will be able to sneak in one spring training game this season on March 24, against the Tampa Bay Rays. Tickets will go on sale January 15th, so if you want the first glimpse at the stadium, be sure to snag them before they sell out.
