Before arriving in Sarasota in 1991, Tom and Pat Hanly were licensed Realtors in New Jersey where Tom was recognized as the top-producing agent in the state.

Upon arriving in Florida, the Hanlys' continued their association with RE/MAX. In 1999 they opened Hanly & Associates. August 2011 the rejoined RE/MAX Platinum Realty on St. Armands Circle.
